Setting Up Your Workspace
Your workspace is the foundation of your Nymble experience. This guide covers the key settings you should configure when getting started.
Company details
Section titled “Company details”Navigate to System > Properties to configure:
- Company name and legal entity — Used on contracts and invoices
- Address and contact information — Appears on official documents
- Industry and company size — Helps tailor your experience
- Logo — Displayed on agreements, invoices, and reports
Services and rates
Section titled “Services and rates”Define the services your agency offers:
- Go to Accounting > Rates to set up billing rates
- Create rate cards for different service types
- Set default rates for employees and contractors
Roles and permissions
Section titled “Roles and permissions”Nymble includes 45+ granular permission policies. To configure roles:
- Navigate to System > Permissions
- Create custom roles based on your team structure
- Assign permissions for each feature area
Common role examples:
- Account Manager — CRM access, contracts, limited billing
- Project Manager — Projects, tasks, time tracking, reporting
- Developer/Designer — Time tracking, tasks, limited project access
- Finance — Full billing, payables, receivables, reporting
Integrations
Section titled “Integrations”Connect your existing tools:
- HubSpot — Bi-directional CRM sync
- Slack — Team notifications
- RescueTime — Automatic time tracking
- Google Drive — Document storage
